Better Care Through Better Collaboration Accurate and timely information is the key to effectively diagnosing and treating your patients. Getting that information from other clinicians, labs, pharmacies, and even from the patient themselves can be a daunting task. That’s why we created CareEntrust – to foster greater collaboration through the timely and secure exchange of patient information. By reviewing medications, immunizations, and other historical information, providers can more easily compile a comprehensive treatment strategy – and, in the process, help improve the safety, quality and efficiency of health care.

The CareEntrust Health Record is a central online data repository for selected, patient-centric health information. It is sponsored and funded by employers in the Kansas City region and is completely free of charge to all health care providers.

CareEntrust allows patients to provide their authorized health care providers with access to their online health record. Information contained within the CareEntrust Health Record includes:

• Visit history, including vital signs
• Current and past medications
• Immunizations
• Allergies
• Lab results
• Demographic data
• Family history and lifestyle

During each visit, clinicians have the option to update their patient’s record by adding allergies, vital signs and prescribing new medications.
